KIRK SESSION
The Kirk Session, which currently comprises 30 Elders, looks after the Worship and Spiritual aspects of the Church. Presided over by the minister, they meet every two months from September to May each year to discuss matters including worship, mission and outreach and on a rota basis assist the minister to serve the Communion elements to the congregation at both formal and informal Communion services throughout the year. Elders also visit members within the parish several times a year delivering the church’s Spotlight magazine and invitations for formal Communion Service. If there are any pastoral concerns, they bring this to the attention of the minister.
